CSA farmers and members share the season’s harvest and the economic responsibility for good land stewardship. This partnership creates direct connections between the people who eat the food, the land and the people who grow the food. Together we are creating an environmentally sound, genetically diverse local food system.

Accommodating and responsive

At Simple Provisions we’re working hard to create a superior CSA.

We provide free home delivery to families in the St. Croix Valley, Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding communities.

No fly list: Let us know which vegetables just wont fly with your family and we will substitute other selections.

Two free vacation weeks: Take up to two weeks off and we will add those boxes at the end of the season.

Add any of Simple Provisions’ other products to your weekly delivery.

Earn $20 for you or your favorite cause for each new share member you refer.

Split your share at no extra cost when both half shares are delivered to the same address.

 A CSA farm share from Simple Provisions is a tasteful assortment of seasonal vegetables and berries, herbs and flowers from our own market garden. Each week’s share box will contain seven to ten kinds of produce and will weigh 10 to 15 pounds or more (usually enough to share with friends). Shares will begin around June 15^th and will continue for eighteen weeks.

We use organic and biodynamic farming principles and we prefer to use open pollinated (non hybrid) seeds.

Absolutely no plastic mulch, chemical fertilizers, chemical weed killers or chemical pestcides.
